
Being in close connection with the patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Gundyayev, the notorious former MP followed instructions and directives, and through his activities, he assisted the Russian Federation in taking measures to ensure that a significant portion of Ukrainian society, who are believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, remained under the influence of the Russian Federation.
He has been charged under Part 1 of Article 111 (treason), Part 3 of Article 161 (violation of the equality of citizens based on their racial, national, regional affiliation, and religious beliefs, committed by an organized group of people).
