As stated by the Minister of National Unity Chernyshov, Ukraine is currently in dire need of a workforce. In this regard, the government is willing to provide exemptions for refugees who return to their homeland and work in critically important enterprises.

The Minister of National Unity of Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshov, announced that if refugees return to Ukraine, they will be exempt from mobilization if they take jobs in critical sectors. He stated this in an interview with the dpa agency.

According to Chernyshov, Ukraine is currently in acute need of a workforce, particularly in the fields of weapons production, energy, and reconstruction. Therefore, if refugees return and find employment in these economic sectors, they will not be called to join the Defence Forces.

"If you work at a power plant, you will not be drafted into the army. This is your guarantee," Chernyshov emphasized.

Additionally, the official noted that recently a significant number of Ukrainians are seriously considering the possibility of returning home. This is why the minister visited Berlin, where he presented the "Unity Hubs" project, which will assist in the employment of refugees.

Chernyshov emphasized that those Ukrainians who decide to stay in Germany will also receive support, for example, in job searches or obtaining professional qualifications.

"They should not become a burden to the government [of Germany],” the minister stated.
