The North Korean military, enlisted by the Kremlin for its aggression, uses Soviet tactics. They act massively.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in an interview with war correspondent Andriy Tsapliyenko. It was published in the evening on Sunday, January 19.

"They act as part of platoons and companies. They operate with massiveness. This is Soviet tactics. War is now conducted differently, under today’s conditions, with the dominance of drones, fighting in small groups, assault or defensive, and when an attack comes from different sides there is a platoon, up to a hundred, and sometimes even more servicemen who attack. They are quite brave," added the general.

The Commander-in-Chief noted that, of course, this is a problem. And the Ukrainian military even lacks ammunition.

"This is in addition to 12,000 quite motivated and trained fighters. However, already half of them are either wounded or destroyed," summed up Syrskyi.

On January 19, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, gave a new interview about the situation with the Russian full-scale invasion. The military leader discussed how the strikes of the Defence Forces on industry in the territory of the Russian Federation affected the enemy’s use of shells, the battle for Pokrovsk, and the fact that the pace of mobilization in Ukraine does not meet the needs of the Armed Forces at the front.

In particular, he mentioned that he has a rule – to meet with the Defence Forces units preparing for an offensive on the battlefield. During these meetings, he communicates with the fighters, explaining to them the purpose of a particular action.
