Russian propaganda is spreading false information about the alleged mass disappearance of teenagers in the Sumy region, who were "forcibly mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces." This information is an obvious fake.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defence Council.
According to the CCD, the Russians are spreading false information about the alleged mass disappearance of teenagers in the Sumy region. According to propagandists, these teenagers disappeared in January 2025 and were allegedly forcibly mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"This information is an obvious fake," emphasized the Center.

They noted that as "evidence," propagandists are showing screenshots of reports about the disappearance of teenagers. However, these are fakes created using an image editing program.
Taking several real announcements about missing teenagers in various regions of Ukraine throughout 2024, propagandists changed the location and date in them.
