The Cabinet dismissed Umyerov’s deputy

The Cabinet has approved the resignation of Deputy Defensce Minister Dmytro Klymenkov, government representative in the Rada Melnychuk announced.

Defence Minister Umyerov submitted a request for his dismissal, citing the "unsuccessful work" of the Defence Procurement Agency.

He also dismissed two members of the supervisory board and did not renew the contract with the agency’s head, Bezrukova. In connection with this, the "Anti-Corruption Action Center" submitted a statement to NABU against the minister.
