On the night of Friday, January 31, the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out a strike on LLC "Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka" in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The mission was executed by units of the UAV Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, along with other Defence Forces units.

The General Staff emphasized that this refinery is among the top ten largest oil refineries in Russia by design capacity.
