An earthquake in Poltava has been reported
The residents of Poltava felt an earthquake, reports Suspilne with reference to their correspondents.
This is not the first earthquake event in the Poltava region.
On November 9, 2024, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Poltava region. Its epicenter was in the Poltava district to the west of Poltava at a depth of 8 km.
Another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Poltava region on March 1, 2024. Its epicenter was located in the Reshetylivka district of the Poltava region, to the west of Poltava, at a depth of 10 km.
Before this, earthquakes in the Poltava region were recorded on July 23, June 8, May 26, and January 14, 2023, with magnitudes of 2.6, 3.7, 3.5, and 2.7.
