Andriy Bilous spoke out for the first time regarding accusations of sexual harassment

Additionally, the director spoke about the future of the Kyiv National Academic Theater.

The lecturer denies all accusations. He stated that there is an "organized campaign" aimed at his "removal from the theater position and gaining control over the theater premises, which is operating successfully."

None of the accusations made have confirmed evidence. I categorically reject all allegations of harassment or other illegal actions and intend to prove it legally. I have submitted an official statement to the police, and an investigation is currently underway. In connection with this, I have also filed a statement for speeding up this investigation, – noted Andriy Bilous.

He emphasized that he has "sufficient evidence to support his position, which has already been submitted for pre-trial review."

Furthermore, Bilous commented on the rumors that "if he is dismissed from the theater, all productions that he directed would be banned from performance."

This is my right, which I can exercise after the license that the theater has expires. But I may choose not to. Currently, the license is valid until the end of the season, – the director stated.
