In the village of Korotych, located in the Kharkiv district, an explosion of an unknown ammunition occurred in one of the private houses, resulting in the death of a 10-year-old boy.
At the moment, law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the tragedy. They are establishing all the circumstances of the incident and investigating where the dangerous object could have appeared in the house.
Updated: According to the Kharkiv Regional Police, it was found that the parents woke up at night to the sound of an explosion in their son’s room and discovered the child showing no signs of life. During the examination of the scene, it was preliminarily established that an A670 detonator for shells exploded. Law enforcement officers have initiated a criminal investigation into the accident and are determining the origin of the ammunition. A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
