This is how the hostile assaults in this section of the Toretsk direction were assessed by the Ukrainian military journalist Bohdan Miroshnykov.
He reports that many enemies go to storm our positions, but only a few return; nevertheless, they continue to advance.
Miroshnikov noted that everything is very difficult in Krymske: it is hard to even determine the line of combat engagement because it constantly changes back and forth. In other areas of Zabalka, there are fights for every house and every plot. In Shcherbynivka-Leonidivka, maneuver battles continue: our soldiers, if necessary, can retreat to eliminate more invaders and then regain lost positions.
"The Toretsk defense area continues to tie down significant enemy forces that he cannot redirect to other sections. First and foremost, to Chasiv Yar and Kostyantynivka," Miroshnykov explains the significance of these battles.
"The battles for Toretsk have already been ongoing for seven months and will continue further, as there is no end in sight yet," the observer concludes.
