RF is suffering significant losses: the Armed Forces of Ukraine assessed the results near Pokrovsk

In one month near Pokrovsk, Russia lost more people than in the entire Second Chechen War, which lasted 10 years from 1999 to 2009.

This was reported by the spokesperson for the Operational-Strategic Group of Forces "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, during a telethon broadcast.

"In Pokrovsk alone, Russia’s irreversible losses amounted to 7,000 in January... For comparison: according to the official declaration of the Russians, they irreversibly lost 6,000 personnel in the Second Chechen War," the spokesperson noted.

He emphasized that such losses are incurred by the occupier not by storming the city but by attempting to bypass it.

"That is, on one front in a month, they lose as many as they did in modern local wars," Trehubov explained.

He added that the Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest spot. Up to 54 combat engagements were recorded there in the past day.
