The aggressor state Russia is trying to buy time while strengthening its army, accumulating Korean missiles and Shahed drones.
This is noted by the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the NSDC, Andriy Kovalenko.
“Russia will now try to pretend that it wants peace more than anyone else—they continue to promote the narrative from the summer of 2024, supposedly claiming that Ukraine does not want to end the war. In reality, Russia is using diplomacy to stall for time, currently accumulating ballistics, bringing in more KN23 missiles from North Korea, trying to increase the production of Shaheds, and expanding the size of its army,” Kovalenko noted.
He emphasized that as long as Russia does not reduce its military-industrial potential and does not halt offensive actions, its claims about peace lack foundation.
“There are words, and then there are actions in the economy and the army,” Kovalenko concluded.
