In Russia plans to announce a “victory” in the war against Ukraine by the third anniversary of the invasion, February 24, 2025. There may also be an announcement of a “victory” over NATO.

This was reported by the DIU.

According to the DIU, Russian propagandists have been tasked with intensifying efforts to sow distrust among the Ukrainian society, destabilize the situation within Ukraine, and discredit it among its allies.

“Among the key narratives of hostile information attacks are ‘The West betrayed Ukraine,’ ‘The opinion of Europeans and Ukrainians does not interest either Moscow or Washington,’ ‘The US and Russia have agreed behind Ukraine’s back,’ ‘The Ukrainian government is illegitimate,’ ‘The Ukrainian army is losing at the front,’ ‘Corruption in Ukraine is stealing billions of dollars in American aid.’ In addition, Russia is preparing to announce an alleged “victory” in the war against Ukraine by a symbolic date – February 24, 2025, the third anniversary of the start of the full-scale war,” the intelligence noted.

The Kremlin has also instructed Russian special services to maximally use diplomatic efforts of the U.S. administration in subversive information and psychological campaigns.
