However, the General Assembly amended the text of the American resolution, replacing the words "conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine" with "full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine."

After such amendments, there were enough votes in the hall for the amended American resolution. Meanwhile, Russia voted against, and the USA abstained.
