In Kropyvnytskyi, a 19-year-old youth shot at a Territorial Recruitment Center employee

In Kropyvnytskyi, a 19-year-old young man opened fire at the employees of the territorial recruitment and social support center. The incident occurred on February 20 on Andriy Nadezhdin Street.

The perpetrator is currently charged with attempted murder.

According to the information from the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, the event took place on February 20. The police received a report from a district police officer that during an operation together with employees of the TRC and SS on Andriy Nadezhdin Street, a man fired an object resembling a gun at the TRC employees. It is reported that at that time, the employees of the territorial recruitment center were performing their official duties.

The police stated that the shooting was carried out by a 19-year-old young man. He was detained and a preventive measure in the form of custody was selected.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated on this fact under Article 15 and Part 2, Clause 8 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
