At the border with Hungary, 16 evaders were detained

Border guards and migration police officers detained a minibus with 16 passengers half a kilometer from the state border with Hungary. Men of conscription age were attempting to illegally cross the border.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.

The transporters were accompanied by two Transcarpathians – the bus driver and his accomplice, who was supposed to travel nearby in another vehicle and warn his partner in case of the appearance of border guards.

The "clients" paid from $7,000 to $15,000 for the journey. According to law enforcement estimates, the organizers collected $170,000 for this transaction. They now face criminal liability.
