Ukrainian military continue to maintain a buffer zone on the territory of Russia. Moreover, they are almost used to the Kursk region.

This is reported with reference to the evening address of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy stated that today he heard a report from the Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. In particular, they discussed the front and the Kursk operation.

"I am grateful to all our warriors in Donetsk region who are repelling attacks and counterattacking. I would especially like to mention the 33rd and 225th assault regiments," he said.

According to the president, it will soon be seven months since Ukrainian fighters have been holding the buffer zone on the territory of the aggressor.

"And soon it will be the seventh month since our guys have maintained the buffer zone on the territory of the aggressor, in Russia, they are almost used to the Kursk region," he noted.

Meanwhile, the president mentioned the 80th separate airborne assault brigade. He thanked the military for good results in the Kursk direction.
