President Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Ireland

Micheál Martin previously canceled a planned visit to Belfast to participate in the meeting with Mr. Zelenskyy.

"The President of Ukraine will make a short stop in Shannon on his way to the USA, where he is to meet with the US President," the publication writes.

It is expected that during this meeting at Shannon Airport, Martin will reaffirm Ireland’s support for Ukraine.

It should be noted that earlier this week, Mr. Martin promised to increase financial humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
