
The United Kingdom continues to support Ukraine. The country will cooperate for as long as needed.
This was stated by the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, reports Sky News.
Today, March 1st, Starmer met with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During the meeting, he confirmed to Zelenskyy that he has "full support in the United Kingdom."
"We will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes," added the Prime Minister.
In turn, the head of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom and noted that Kyiv counts on their support.
"Indeed, I have seen many people, and I want to thank you, the people of the United Kingdom, for such great support from the very beginning of this war, thank you, your team," noted Zelenskyy.
The President also expressed his satisfaction that King Charles III agreed to the meeting.
"I am very glad that His Majesty the King accepted my meeting tomorrow, and I am grateful that you organized such a great summit for tomorrow. And we in Ukraine are very happy to have such strategic partners, that we have signed with you a historic document," summed up the head of Ukraine.
