LRMA requests to posthumously award Iryna Farion the title of Hero of Ukraine

The Lviv Regional Military Administration has addressed the President of Ukraine with a request to confer the title of Hero of Ukraine to the deceased linguist Iryna Farion.

This was reported by the daughter of the deceased linguist, Sofiya Osoba.

"For many years of diligent work in the field of Ukrainian studies, significant contribution to the development of science and education, fruitful socio-political activities, and tireless ideological fight during the hybrid aggression against Ukraine, we request to confer Iryna Dmytrivna Farion the title of Hero of Ukraine with the awarding of the Order of the State (posthumously)," — the appeal states.
