A member of the Verkhovna Rada from the party «Servant of the People» Oleksandr Yurchenko stated that peacekeeping forces may be deployed, including in the Volyn region.
He expressed his opinion in an interview with Novyny.LIVE.
According to him, peacekeeping forces should be located not on the front line, but in the northern regions - Volyn, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv. This is to avoid a possible invasion from Belarus.
«They (the peacekeepers, - ed.) will not be on the demarcation line, because, again, we do not know it and it does not exist, that is, not on the front line. And if these forces are deployed, they will not be directly on the Poltava-Dnipro-Kryvyi Rih line, but specifically in Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, possibly even in Volyn, where we may expect another invasion from the territory of Belarus», he said.
