The Air Force shot down 700 enemy targets in a week

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine summarized the results for the past week. A total of 700 air attack means have been destroyed.

This is reported with reference to the report of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military reported that during the week from March 3 to March 9, air defence shot down 700 enemy air attack means. Among them:

• 25 X-101 cruise missiles;
• 8 Kalibr cruise missiles;
• 1 Iskander-K cruise missile;
• 1 X-59 guided aviation missile;
• 520 Shahed-type attack drones;
• 39 reconnaissance drones;
• 106 other types of drones.

Additionally, over the past week, tactical aviation of the Air Force conducted more than 120 aircraft sorties, including:

• fire damage and air support for troops - 44;
• fighter air cover - 80;
• air reconnaissance - 21.

The military added that Air Force pilots carried out dozens of airstrikes on enemy positions with bombs and missiles of various types, resulting in damage to command points, areas of equipment and manpower concentration.

Also, during the week, the UAV units of the Combined Rifle Brigade of the Air Force conducted 1134 combat sorties:

• 1029 UAV reconnaissance sorties;
• 105 drops and strikes by FPV drones.

As a result, the following were eliminated:

• up to 70 enemy personnel;
• special equipment;
• 20 enemy shelters and positions.
