Freezing the frontline may lead to the division of the Kherson region and the establishment of an armed border, similar to the Berlin Wall.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on Telegram.
"If the frontline is frozen, it could lead to the division of the Kherson region and the establishment of an armed border, similar to the Berlin Wall," Prokudin noted.
He added that Russian forces in southern Ukraine aim to seize bridgeheads on the Dnipro River. According to him, initially, the occupiers tried to cross the river by boat, which ended fatally for them.
"Now, Russian forces are using armored vehicles to approach the destroyed road and railway bridges in order to block these routes, stop logistics from our side, and protect their boats," Prokudin remarked.
He called these raids "suicide missions."
