Ukraine has concluded an agreement with the manufacturer of IRIS-T
Ukraine has signed a memorandum of understanding with the company Diehl Defence. This is the manufacturer of the IRIS-T system, which plays an important role in Ukraine’s air defence.
This information is reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
"The protection of Ukrainian skies and cities is our top priority. The signed agreement opens up opportunities for major industrial projects that will enhance the capabilities of Ukrainian air defence," emphasized Ukraine’s Defence Minister Rustem Umyerov.
He informed that the Memorandum also envisages tripling the supply of missiles and air defence systems.
"I am grateful to Diehl Defence for their trust and willingness to cooperate. It is important that leading global defense companies are reaching out to Ukraine. The free world supports us, and together we are opening new opportunities to strengthen defense," the minister noted.
Umerov concluded that the Ministry of Defence continues to develop the Ukrainian defense industry and integrate it into the European ecosystem.
