In Ivano-Frankivsk region, a man injured two employees of the TRC with a knife

In the Kolomyia district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a conscript attacked the staff of the territorial recruitment center (TRC) with a knife, injuring two servicemen.

According to local media reports, citing the Ivano-Frankivsk regional TRC and SP, the incident occurred today around 12:30. The conscripted citizen F. suddenly attacked the military personnel during transportation to the first department of the Kolomyia RTRC.

As a result of the attack, Senior Soldier K. received two stab wounds to the neck, and Soldier S. received one injury to the chest. After the attack, the assailant fled but was soon apprehended by police officers of the Kolomyia district.

Law enforcement officers are working at the scene, and all circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
