Ukraine will not allow the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant to operate for the occupiers, - Zelenskyy
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the Russians are trying to pressure the IAEA to take control of our station, but the agency is not succumbing to this pressure so far.
The Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant was occupied by Russian forces on March 4, 2022. During the takeover, there were hostilities that resulted in damage to part of the station’s infrastructure. Since then, the plant has been under the control of Russian military forces, creating constant risks for its safe operation and nuclear safety in the region.
