Ukraine continues to bring back its defenders from captivity. This time, among them were also soldiers from the "Azov" brigade.

During the exchange on March 19, 2025, 6 fighters of the 12th "Azov" brigade were released from captivity. This was reported with reference to the brigade’s post.

The brigade shared that these warriors had endured the battle for Mariupol and the trials of enemy captivity.

"After almost three years of imprisonment, our comrades are finally returning to their families and loved ones," the statement reads.

It was also reminded that currently 842 fighters of the 12th "Azov" brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine are still in Russian captivity under extremely difficult conditions.

The brigade expressed hope that responsible services are doing everything possible every day to bring all the "Azov" soldiers home.

In turn, the 12th "Azov" brigade fights daily for their sake on the battlefield.
