Zelenskyy: A partial truce is a step backwards, not a path to peace
According to Zelenskyy, the decision on a partial ceasefire, reached during the phone talks between Trump and Putin, is a step backward.
«Again, it seems to me, a step backward was taken, because it is about a partial ceasefire. We are ready to propose more progressive steps to move toward peace,» he told the Ukrainian media.
Zelenskyy also noted that if Washington’s strategy involves steps backward, Kyiv is forced to come to terms with it.
