Ukraine managed to return nine children from temporarily occupied territories and two more from Russia. This became possible thanks to the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.

This was reported by Telegram the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

"Today we have more good news - within the framework of the Ukrainian President’s initiative Bring Kids Back UA, we managed to return 11 more Ukrainian children from temporarily occupied territories and the territory of the Russian Federation," said Yermak.

Among those rescued are two brothers, aged 10 and 12, whose father died after being tortured for his pro-Ukrainian stance. After his death, the mother ultimately decided to leave the temporarily occupied territory with her sons.

A two-year-old child was also evacuated along with a pregnant mother. The woman categorically refused to receive Russian documents, but because of this, she could not leave the occupied territory on her own. On the territory controlled by Ukraine, the woman gave birth to another child.

"Thank you to the team of the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine for assisting in organizing the rescue mission and to everyone who participated in this important matter. We are fulfilling the president’s task - to return all children," noted the head of the Office of the President.
