Car explosion in Dnipro: injured official in intensive care
The car explosion in Dnipro that occurred on the morning of April 4 has signs of a terrorist attack.
Yuriy Fedko, head of the Left Bank Administration of the city council, was injured. According to his deputy, he is currently in the intensive care unit in serious condition.
The explosion occurred around 07:40 AM on Peredova Street. According to preliminary data, an explosive device was placed in or under the car. Fedko’s wife was also in the car — she was injured as well, and her condition is currently being clarified.
Law enforcement agencies are currently considering the main version — a targeted terrorist attack. Investigative actions are ongoing, surveillance camera footage is being reviewed, and individuals who may have been involved in planting the explosives are being identified.
Yuriy Fedko is a well-known local official who held the position of head of the administration on the Left Bank of Dnipro. According to preliminary information, he had not received any public threats, but the investigation is examining all possible motives for the crime, including political, official, or personal.
