The prosecutor’s office also kept up: cryptocurrency was noted in 240 declarations. Judges submitted 227 such documents, and municipal councils found 119 officials with digital assets. Among members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, cryptocurrency was declared in 77 cases. Representatives of NABU noted cryptocurrency in 38 cases," the material states.

Most frequently, officials declare Tether (USDT) crypto dollars — 802 public servants. Bitcoin (BTC, XBT), despite all exchange rate fluctuations, holds the second position — 731 declarations. Ethereum (ETH) was declared by 713 officials.

The largest amount of bitcoins was declared by Oleh Bondarenko, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy. He has 80 BTC, equivalent to 279.4 million hryvnias as of April 1st.

And the record for the number of crypto dollars belongs to the head of the Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office Vitaliy Brovko — his declaration features 847,908 USDT, valued at 35 million hryvnias.

"It is also worth noting that there are several former officials who could have made it to the top — but claimed they lost access to their crypto assets. The record sum of 380.95 bitcoins among Ukrainian officials was noted and lost in 2021 by the deputy head of the State Geological and Mineral Resources Service of Ukraine Roman Saramaha. This is about 1.33 billion UAH in hryvnia equivalent as of April 1, 2025.

The most Ethereum — 1,800 units or over 140 million UAH as of April 1 of the current year — belongs to Deputy of the Podilsk District Council of the Odesa Region Ihor Osipov. However, in last year’s declaration, the official noted he lost access to his assets," states the analytical report.
