Ñontractor for the construction of the metro in Vynohradar fined 78 million hryvnias
The text refers to JSC «Kyivmetrobud» — a company that served as the general contractor.
As a result of court proceedings and inspections, it became known that the company:
- Did not use the budget funds as intended;
- Earned profit from deposits;
- Did not meet construction deadlines.
In November 2022, the Commercial Court ruled to recover 139 million UAH from the company. Already in April 2025, the court satisfied another claim: an additional 78 million UAH was added to the 139 million for inflation losses and annual interests.
