Assault Battalion "Da Vinci" has been expanded to a regiment, - Zelenskyy

The First Separate Assault Battalion "Da Vinci" has now been transformed into a regiment.

This was announced by President Zelenskyy.

It is worth recalling that since the beginning of the full-scale conflict, this unit was part of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps, later became a separate battalion, and has now received the status of a regiment within the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

Currently, the unit is operating in the Pokrovsk direction, and in January-February, it actively recruited new members from among volunteers and prisoners, as reported by specialized media outlets.
