The head of the post office in Rivne region stole over 2.6 million hryvnias
A daring post office manager in Rivne region embezzled over 2,600,000 UAH. The money clouded her judgment.
Initially, a resident of Zarichne forged official documents concerning the payment of pensions to citizens and misappropriated funds exceeding 600,000 UAH.
The woman was exposed and removed from her position, but this was not enough for her, and under the pretense of assisting postal workers, she again gained access to cash and similarly misappropriated another 1.1 million UAH.
Additionally, the woman embezzled other payments, and in total, over 350 individuals were affected for a total amount of 2,633,266 UAH.
During the case, she returned 600,000 UAH, and her property was subsequently seized to compensate for the payments.
