The Russian Federation recruits 8-9 thousand contract soldiers every month, - Syrskyi

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, noted that Russia increases the strength of its armed forces by 8-9 thousand people monthly through contractors.

Syrskyi said this in an interview with Lb.ua

In response to a question about mobilization plans, the Commander-in-Chief confirmed that the figure of 30 thousand mobilized monthly, announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is relevant and remains a target indicator for the Defense Forces. He also emphasized the need to respond to the actions of the enemy, who continues to actively replenish its troops.

"The President announced a figure that we must adhere to. And this is indeed the figure we strive for.

The enemy increases the number of its Armed Forces by 8-9 thousand monthly through contractors. In some regions, the contract cost reaches 40 thousand dollars. And money for them is always an incentive."
