A hostile strike on the center of Sumy on Palm Sunday took the life of Lyudmyla Volodymyrivna Vashchenko - a person who dedicated a significant part of her career to leading the justice department in the Sumy region.

This was reported by the Eastern Interregional Directorate of the Ministry of Justice.

Lyudmyla Volodymyrivna began working in the justice bodies in 1996, starting as the head of the personnel department, then as the deputy head of the Sumy regional justice department - head of the civil status registration department. From December 2006 to February 2013, she headed the justice department of the Sumy region. At present, she provided citizens with notarial services, working as a private notary in the Sumy city notarial district.
