Cars are "floating" in boiling water: a pipeline burst in Kyiv

A major pipeline break occurred in Kyiv on Mykola Mikhnovsky Boulevard, near the "Zvirynetska" metro station. As a result of the accident, significant traffic jams formed on the road towards the Paton Bridge.

This is reported by the Kyiv Patrol Police press service. Law enforcement authorities recommend that drivers pay attention to this information.

Water spilled onto the roadway on Mikhnovsky Blvd.

A significant flooding with hot water formed at the scene — streams of boiling water filled the road to such an extent that cars are literally "floating". Videos of the incident are being posted on local Telegram channels.

The hot water also spread to the sidewalks. In some video recordings, the bus stop can be seen flooded.
