How many tanks have the occupiers lost since the beginning of the year?

Since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainian defenders have destroyed over a thousand tanks of the Russian occupying forces. The invaders’ armored vehicles on the front are turning into piles of burning scrap.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Thursday, April 25. On his official Facebook page, he also posted a video showing how the Defence Forces are accurately targeting and burning enemy military equipment.

"Our warriors are turning the tanks and armored vehicles of the Russian occupiers into piles of burning scrap," Syrskyi wrote.

According to him, the aggressor country’s losses in tanks alone have already exceeded a thousand since the beginning of this year, amounting to 1,031 units.

"Thank you to our defenders for their professional combat work. The fight continues. Glory to Ukraine!" said the commander-in-chief.
