Ukraine today is the last country in the world in terms of birth rate, - MP
This was stated by MP Yuriy Pavlenko.
"We are constantly experiencing an increase in mortality rates. This is a deep demographic crisis."
According to the MP, in 2013, 500,000 children were born in Ukraine, in 2014 — 465,000, and by 2024 — only 176,000 children were born in Ukraine.
"The authorities must minimize the causes that affect the loss of Ukraine’s population," said Pavlenko.
