Special Representative of the President on Sanctions Policy, Vladyslav Vlasyuk, reported that among the Russian companies currently sanctioned by Ukraine are energy and metallurgical enterprises that support the Russian defense program.

Vlasyuk disclosed this information on Facebook.

"The new sanction decrees are posted on the website, and the sanctions are in the NSDC register. I will focus in detail on one of the packages, ’Business.’ 19 Russian energy companies of the ’Novatek’ group - suppliers of liquefied natural gas; 4 companies supplying titanium to Russia (a critical material for manufacturing missiles and other weapons); 2 metallurgical companies owned by Russian oligarch Lisin; Oleksiy, son of Mykola Azarov, who conducts business in temporarily occupied territories; ’Volzhskiy Abrasive Plant’ and ’Volgaburmash’ - the former is a key manufacturer of silicon carbide in Russia, used for semiconductor and high-precision electronics production and collaborates with Russian defense industry companies under sanctions (’Progress Rocket and Space Center’, PJSC ’Yakovlev’, etc.). They continue exporting to the EU," Vlasyuk noted.

He also emphasized that JSC ’Volgaburmash’ - the largest Russian manufacturer of tools for the oil, mining, and construction industries - has also been restricted.

("’Volgaburmash’) is actively increasing exports to the EU, while the aggressor state is deliberately destroying its Ukrainian competitor - ’Drohobych Drilling Equipment Plant’ - with missile attacks. We will synchronize everything with our partners," assured the Special Representative of the President on Sanctions Policy.
