Zelenskyy: Discussed shooting down "Shaheds" with other drones at the Staff meeting

Ukraine is currently defending its sky from Russian "Shaheds" with the help of one of the most advanced technologies in the world of military conflicts.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening address.

According to him, today there was a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, where the financial support of the army was discussed. Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko reported at the meeting.

"We are working to ensure absolute stability in the financial support of our warriors," the President noted.

In addition, the meeting discussed the protection of Ukrainian skies from Russian attacks.

"A key issue discussed today at the meeting was the protection of Ukrainian skies, particularly the interception of ’Shaheds,’ including with the help of other drones. This is one of the most advanced technologies in modern military conflicts. I am grateful to everyone who is implementing this process, who provides this new possibility for any army—to protect their country from drones using drones," Zelenskyy stated.

He instructed the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to actively cooperate with partners to finance the production of such interceptors.

"We will develop this direction to the maximum, and responsibility for this activity will be assigned to each region," he emphasized.
