Situation at the front: The enemy carried out 38 assaults in the Pokrovsk direction

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 117 combat engagements on the front, 38 enemy assaults recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.

This was reported in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation on the front as of 10 PM May 10.

It is mentioned that the enemy launched 36 airstrikes, dropping 51 guided aerial bombs, conducted 891 kamikaze drone attacks, and 2,943 shellings of our troops’ positions.

Situation in Kharkiv Region

In the Kharkiv direction, our troops repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Mala Shapkivka, and Kamyanka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted one attack on our fortifications near Zahrizove. It was unsuccessful.

Fighting in the East

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian defenders six times towards the settlements of Cherneshchyna, Olhivka, Ridkodub, Nove, and Zelena Dolyna. Three combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks today. The occupying units tried to advance towards Hryhorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defence Forces stopped seven enemy attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, and towards Bila Hora, Maiske, and Predtechyne. One more combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers launched seven assaults today on our defenders’ positions in the areas of Druzhba, Toretsk, and towards Diliivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted 38 assaults. The highest activity is observed towards the settlements of Myrolubivka, Kotliarivka, Myrne, Zorya, and near the settlements of Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka. Three combat engagements are ongoing.

According to preliminary data, in this direction, our troops killed 69 and wounded 32 occupiers, destroyed one vehicle and three reconnaissance UAVs, and significantly damaged one self-propelled artillery unit.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted to break through 13 times near settlements of Kostyantynopil, Vilne Pole, Pryvilne, and towards Bahatyr, Shevchenka, Novopil.

Situation in the South

In the Huliaipole direction, in the areas of Novopil and Novosilky, Ukrainian defenders stopped 11 enemy attacks, and two more attacks are still ongoing. The settlements of Malynivka and Zaliznychne were subjected to air strikes.

In the Orikhiv direction, today the enemy conducted two attacks near the settlement of Stepove and towards Novodanylivka. They were unsuccessful.

In the Prydniprovs’k direction, the enemy launched three futile attacks on our defenders’ positions.

Situation in the Kursk Region

In the Kursk direction, since the beginning of the day, the Defence Forces successfully stopped 19 enemy attacks, and two combat engagements are still ongoing.

The General Staff added that no significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other directions.
