We hope for a quick meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin, said Serhiy Kyslytsya, a member of the Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul.
According to the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the preliminary success of the negotiations in Istanbul still needs to be solidified — "this means that pressure on Russia must continue."
"At this stage, we should not relax. Many issues can only be resolved by the leaders, considering the complexity of the topics and the nature of the Russian system, where practically all decisions are made by Putin. We hope for a meeting soon," he added.
