"Nadiya is alive": Savchenko refuted the fake news about her death on the front line

Nadiya Savchenko refuted rumors of her death at the front, which were actively spread by Russian propagandists. She posted a video from the frontline.

This was reported by Channel 24 with reference to her video. Nadiya Savchenko refuted the false information from Russian propagandists about her alleged death in the war.

She published an address on social media, assuring that she is alive and will continue to fight despite enemy disinformation.

I am alive and will live to spite all enemies, just as our Ukraine lives. Hope does not die, – stated Savchenko.

Previously, Russian "war correspondent" Volodymyr Romanov claimed that on May 11, an air bomb hit the headquarters of the 112th Territorial Defence Brigade, and Savchenko, who commanded a company, was killed. This information was immediately refuted by her sister Vera, who called the Russian propaganda a "pathetic fantasy".

Both Savchenko and her sister were mobilized in the spring of 2022. Previously, the ex-deputy was involved in scandals: in particular, in 2024, she was accused of an "unauthorized" order to retreat, which allegedly affected the situation in Ochertynovo. In response, Savchenko appealed to the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation to investigate MP Maryana Bezuhla, who initiated the accusations.
