From 202 settlements in the Sumy region, more than 52,000 people have been evacuated.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on the air of "Suspilne. Studio".

Almost 2,400 people were evacuated last week.

The Regional State Administration notes that over 86,000 residents from 202 settlements in the Sumy region are currently subject to evacuation.

Already over 60% have been evacuated, which is more than 52,000 people.

"We provide transportation, shelter, and assistance – humanitarian, financial, psychological," he stated.

In addition, Hryhorov noted that currently in the region, almost 21,000 subscribers remain without electricity, and over 10,000 without gas.
