Scandal with supplies for the Armed Forces: a relative of an ES deputy helps to avoid responsibility

Kyiv Regional Council Deputy from "European Solidarity" Leonid Hlynyanyi, according to media reports, is helping his relative — Tetyana Hlynyana — avoid responsibility for corruption in the Ministry of Defence.

Hlyniana’s companies ("Aktyv Kompani", "Grand Konsalt") received over 8 billion UAH for supplying food for the army. In particular, eggs were purchased at 17 UAH each, while the market price was 7 UAH.

In April 2025, NABU and SAPO announced suspicions against her, the company directors, and former Ministry of Defence official Bohdan Khmelnytskyi — due to the embezzlement of 733 million UAH.

According to the investigation, part of the money was used to purchase real estate abroad, notably in Croatia.
