Zelenskyy postponed the Children’s Day to another date

Now in Ukraine, Children’s Day will be celebrated not on June 1, but on November 20.

The corresponding decree was signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

«With the aim of establishing the protection of childhood as a national priority of Ukraine, strengthening and uniting the efforts of the international community aimed at protecting the rights and best interests of the child, and implementing the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, I decree: to establish Children’s Day in Ukraine, which will be celebrated annually on World Children’s Day – November 20», – the decree states.

The decree of May 30, 1998, No. 568/98 «On Children’s Day», which established the celebration on June 1, has lost its validity.
