Zelenskyy announced a decision regarding joint defence productions of Ukraine with partners

The number of joint defence production projects with our partners will increase in Ukraine. The relevant decisions were made during the 28th meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group in the "Ramstein" format.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during his traditional address to the nation at the end of the day. The Ukrainian leader emphasized that such joint defence production is a "guarantee of long-term security" for our country.

"Today, a ’Ramstein’ meeting took place, and it is important that this format of our cooperation with partners is maintained. We are preparing decisions in support of our joint defence productions with partners. This is long-term security, these are our guarantees, European guarantees, guarantees for everyone that Russian aggression cannot expand and will not be rewarded," noted the head of state.

The Ukrainian leader stressed that "Russia must truly feel that war is worse than peace," and that is why sanctions and "steadfast defence support for Ukraine" are needed.

Besides military cooperation, the economic component of such international cooperation is no less important — as "understanding the post-war foundations for Ukraine’s development," Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

"People need to know what our Ukrainian recovery will bring. And this is important not only for our people but for each of our partners — for everyone who is helping us now during the war, and who, thanks to this, can gain bigger opportunities in our economic cooperation," explained the president.

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, today’s "long day" for him began with a conversation with the President of Finland, during which they discussed "negotiations in Turkey, interaction with America, and our European prospects."

The President of Ukraine also talked today with the Chancellor of Germany about "accelerating the implementation of our agreements reached during the visit to Berlin."

And, as always, the guarantor of the Constitution thanked the Ukrainian warriors. Today, he honored the Ukrainian defenders from the ranks of the Security Service of Ukraine, who "carried out our largest defence operation on Russian territory." This refers to the "Spider Web" operation.

"Minus 41 aircraft of the Russian military aviation. Precisely what operated not only for this war but also for Russia’s overall love for war. Our results are entirely justified. And I am grateful to everyone in the world who is already inspired by our results," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
