Recently, Ukrainian actor Yuriy Felipenko was killed at the front. The leading actor in the series "Color of Passion" joined the military in April 2024. Yurii is forever 32 years old now. His wife, presenter, and writer Kateryna Motrych announced the date, time, and place of the farewell.

The farewell to Yuriy Felipenko will take place in Kyiv on Thursday, June 19. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM at the Theater on Podil (Andriivskyi Descent, 20). Kateryna noted that the event is designated only for those who personally knew the fallen actor and his family. Then, the farewell will continue at 1:30 PM at the St. Michael’s Cathedral (Triokhsviatytelska Street, 8). It is currently unknown at which cemetery Yuriy Felipenko will be buried.

"I sincerely ask you to come. It would have meant a lot to Yura. For me, it would become a comfort," – Kateryna Motrych wrote on social media.

Kateryna’s friend, Nati Hresko, separately addressed media representatives who will cover the funeral of the defender of Ukraine.

"A request to media representatives – treat others’ grief with respect, consider personal boundaries, maintain an appropriate distance, refrain from taking emotionally large photos of the relatives and friends of the deceased, as well as from exploiting the theme of death in headlines and materials. If your work goes unnoticed, it will be the best gesture of gratitude and respect to Yura on your part," – Hresko wrote in her Instagram stories.

Yuriy Felipenko served in the 429th Separate Drone Systems Regiment "ACHILLES". He joined the military in April 2024. His call sign was "May". Yuriy was from Zaporizhzhya. In 2016, he graduated from the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Film, and Television named after I. K. Karpenko-Kary (Yuriy Vysotsky’s course).

Later, he became an actor at the Kyiv Academic Drama Theatre on Podil, where he played about 20 diverse roles in numerous plays. He also worked at the theater-studio "Stigma" and was involved in dubbing foreign films, including well-known projects such as "How to Train Your Dragon 2" and "The First Ukrainian Tale".
