It is not possible to stabilize the water supply in the "DPR" due to the irregular use of pipes and a lack of water.
This was reported by the head of "Water of Donbas," Andriy Hryhoryev, during a live broadcast, according to local "media".
"The cities that were supplied with water through the ’Siverskyi Donets-Donbas’ canal are facing a water supply deficit because they have been switched to a schedule. The canal remains disconnected. And the entire volume of water that comes from local sources and from redirection from the Don River only meets 45-50% of the needs," said Hryhoryev.
This causes another problem, which, according to the head of "Water of Donbas", is the need for a water supply schedule. Due to the irregular operation of the water supply system, air gets into the pipes, and water stagnation occurs.
In addition, the head of "Water of Donbas" denies the supply of technical water to residents’ pipelines: "We cannot supply technical water in principle. We have high-quality water after purification."
